Branson Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Dakota

On Sunday, North Dakota fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-0 loss to Branson. Branson took the lead on a home run in the first inning.

The North Dakota struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Branson, giving up 11 runs.

Branson opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jerimiah Jones hit a solo homer.

Dasch Kaiser pitched Branson to victory. The fireballer allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out ten.

Landon Zink took the loss for North Dakota. The bulldog surrendered six runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out two.

Branson launched four home runs on the day. Jones had a homer in the first inning. Gavin Thomason had a dinger in the fourth inning. Nicholas Long went for the long ball in the third inning. Adam McKnight went yard in the third inning.

Branson saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Thomason and Jones all had multiple hits for Branson. Branson didn't commit a single error in the field. Mason Thorton had the most chances in the field with ten. Kaiser led Branson with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with eight stolen bases.
