Meyers's Walk-Off Gives Aruba Victory Over Bahamas

A walk-off double propelled Aruba to a decisive, dramatic victory over the Bahamas, 5-4. The game was tied at four, with Aruba batting in the bottom of the sixth when Nishantel Meyers doubled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.

Jovin Willems led things off on the pitcher's mound for Aruba. The bulldog went five innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out six, and walking one.

Trae Neymour was on the hill for the Bahamas. The hurler lasted four innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out two. Alexander Burrows threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Nathaniël Riley went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Aruba in hits.

Burrows led the Bahamas with two hits in three at-bats.
