Canada had a tough time generating runs on Tuesday, dropping their game with Republic of Korea 8-0.
One bright spot for Canada was a single by Aiden Hines in the first inning.
Sihu Oh led the Republic of Korea to victory on the hill. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out seven and walking zero. Joel Kim and Dowoo Yi entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Patrick MacInnis took the loss for Canada. He lasted five and a third innings, allowing six hits and seven runs while striking out four.
Devon Pennington, Luke Ready, Hines, and Nathan Behm all had one hit to lead Canada.
Jaeho Choi led Republic of Korea with two hits in three at bats. Republic of Korea was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Choi made the most plays with six.
